Our Wines

Wineyard (Viña Belita)

The Romero family, owners of this winery, have their own vineyard in the sandy soils of La Serena region in Extremadura.

Those soils, with quaternary deposits left throughout the history by the Guadiana river, produce a uniquely memorable taste, 70% of the grapes needed for the production is grown in these lands, while the 30% left is brought from some other vineyards in the neighbourhood, with similar characteristics, where all the work, selection and grape harvest are performed closely with Delauvin experienced staff.

GRAPES VARIETIES: Red Wine is harvested from hand-selected 100% “Tempranillo” variety grapes, while white wines use ”Macabeo “, “Cigüente” and “Perruno”. These last two varieties are very old and both keep their identity with the grape- producing past of this area and its special wine.

All the analysis and controls are delivered by some of the most important oenologist in the country.

The plantations have a support watering system during the summer in order to prevent the water stress and get ripening of the product helped by the powerful sun of this area.

Grape Harvest

The grape is hand harvested by experienced workers and supervised by the technical manager in the winery. This task is performed in the very first hours of the day, taking advantage of the low temperatures of the day at that time and avoiding a pre-fermentation. We also make a strict selection of the grapes and then being delivered to the winery in small containers.

Our Winery

The new winery was built in 2013. It has an underground cellar 5 metres deep, where all our wines rest in complete silence, protected from the climatological changes.
